Dear Parsi Herbs, I was sick and felt like I was going to die. I could not breathe in and had exterme difficulty breathing out. Hello, I am 26 years old, male, from Canada. I went on antideprassant medication in year 2000 to treat my depression and anxiety. For a year and a half it helped somewhat to pull through my days but afterwards, the depression and severe anxiety came back. My doctor switched my medication to PAXIL. In the beginning paxil worked great. I was social, happy and felt no anxiety. as time progressed, I noticed that i had difficulties remembering the topics i had studied for school. In year 2004, I decided to get off paxil. about a week after cutting down my dose, the anxiety and depression relapsed with such a strength that I ended up in hospital. I experienced derealization/depersonalization (scariest symptom of all), severe anxiety, suicidal depression, loss of cognitive function, memory loss, and the list goes on and on and I thought I was at the end of the line. I tried accupuncture, homepthay, naturapathy, ect.... I saw a psychiatrist and he suggested me to go on Abilify (medication for psychotic people who suffer from schizophrenia). at that time, I was Dr. Jafari on TV and I decided to consult with her for she appeared a very knowledgable and caring person. The day I first spoke to her, was right after Iran and Mexico worldcup 2006 match. I could not even remember what the result was ~ She ensured me that the symptoms I was experiencing were due to PAXIL and told me I have to be on supplements for 6 months to 1 year. She sent me the appropriate supplements. For the first two months, I experienced not much of improvement. It was in my 3rd months that I noticed I was improving significantly. I went back to school (4th year electrical engineering) and took one course. I was not confident that I could handle even that one course but I was extremely happy and grateful that at least I was able to get back to life to some extend. I struggled learning in the beginning of the semester, but on the other hand, the supplements were working and my condition was improving. the end result was that I got the highest mark of 96 as my final grade. something I could not even dream of. I am on my second semester now, taking my last two courses. I am grateful and more driven than before. still not 100% recovered... but I appreciate life again and I am efficient and functional. I just wish that there were more of Dr. Jafari around. I can not thank God enough and I can not thank Dr. Jafari enough for what she is doing to help people. My name is Mary Ahadian. I live in the United States of America, San Diego, California I had a skin problem for 10 years . It started with a small red dot and both hands were covered with puffy, maccaroni shape red swellings. My skin was very sensitive to touch and sun and ugly looking. I have been diagnosed with Ulcerative Collitis ever since 12 years ago, resulting in bleeding from large intestine and I was referred by my primary Doctor to many specialists who prescribed many medications which only resulted in side effects ranging from hair loss, extreme fatige, nausea, diarhaea, and headaches to mention a few. My story begins around November, 1998. I started experiencing a condition in which the skin would harden and peel off my hands. It was a very painful and embarrassing situation. Dermatologists, with their creams and ointments, were of no help. By the spring of 1999, I became very ill with flu-like symptoms and fatigue. I went through about five doctors and three dermatologists in the course of 8 months, without relief. The flu-like symptoms, fatigue and peeling of the skin continued to get worse. Dear Dr. Jafari, I thank you from my heart and soul for your wonderful healing, food therapy and medicinal herbs. It is nothing short of a miracle that I am here today and I want to share my story. It began years ago when I was in an abusive relationship. As time went by I felt trapped, not knowing how to get my children and myself out of the relationship. I was unable to cope and turned to drinking alcohol as my way of coping. It was a very poor choice, but it was the choice I made. As time passed, things got worse, I drank more and I knew I would die if I didn't do something. About a year ago I managed to get out of the relationship, but then found I was unable to quit drinking. I made plans to go to a rehab in several months, which was the soonest I could go. By the time I checked in, I knew I was very close to death. I don't know how I knew, I just did. Six months before that my liver had been functioning at 5-10% and my doctor told me I could be put on a liver transplant list after six months of abstinence from alcohol. I went to treatment humbled and ready to do whatever was necessary to change my life. God saved by life and there was still more to be done. After treatment, I sought body healing, emotional and spiritual cleansing and support. At that time, I was alcohol free, but my body was in the same condition as before. A registered nurse referred me to Dr. Jafari and I sought her help to heal. My liver was ruined (I would have needed a transplant or died anyway), my kidneys barely functional, and my spleen enlarged. I had neuropathy in my feet, with such poor circulation it was painful to walk. I had problems too numerous to list. Now, only three and a half months later, I feel great, full of energy, my body is almost healed, and my liver and kidneys are functioning beautifully. I have learned how to eat properly to keep my body healthy. Dr. Jafari has worked with me spiritually and emotionally, which has been so important for my healing. Dear Anahitta - About 10 years ago I fell off a horse and tore my rotator cuff. It never healed properly. As time went on, the shoulder joint became arthritic or, in other words, bone was touching bone with very little cushion. From time to time, with overuse of the arm, the shoulder would become very sore. I started taking the Arthritis Formula from Parsi Herbs approximately one month ago and, along with stretching exercises, my shoulder became much improved. I have been playing golf with very little discomfort now, whereas before, sometimes inflammation would occur.
