Diabetes is becoming more common in the world (the United States, especially), increasing evey day because of increased amounts of processes foods and sugar intake. There are 3 serious side effects of diabetes -- or what we call Poor Control of the Blood Sugar (glucose) ...
1) Neuropathy Neuropathy is the clotting or "clumping" of red blood cells or "redheme" in the blood. This clumping affects the red blood cell's ability to get through the small, thin capillaries which leads to a lack of oxygen in the cells which, in turn, leads to loss of nerve cells or 'Neuropathy' (nerve death). Symptoms often start with feeling a numbness or tingling in the feet. Lack of enzymes in the blood are one of the causes of this condition and is compounded by the one's inability to break down and utilize foods consumed daily. Retinopathy affects the vision. High amounts of glucose in the blood affects the fragile (hair thin) capillaries that feed the cells and nerves. Quite similar to Neuropathy. Nephrapathy affects the kidney and the eyes. There are many vitamins, minerals, herbs. enzymes, and anti-oxidants that help prevent these conditions and create a balance in our system to eliminate these conditions according to traditional Persian medicine. Phillasophy and "Ibnn Sinna" or "Poour Sinna". Modern medicine has since also acknowledged these understandings. The American Diabetic Association (ADA) now recommends taking vitamin supplements and anti-oxidants to relieve diabetic conditions. B Vitamins play a vry important role in the health of our nerves, eyes, skin, hair, liver, mental attitude and the ability for our heart to function properly. B1 (Thiamine): High consumption of alcohol or drugs (recreational or prescription) increases the need for Thiamine. Promotes growth and mental health. B2 (Riboflavin): Improves vision and metabolism of fats and carbohydrates. Promotes healthy skin, hair, and nails. B3 (Niacin): Works in conjunction with chromium to regulate glucose (sugar) for diabetes and hypo or hyperglycemia. Assists on reducing cholesterol. Improves circulation. B5 (Pantothetic Acid): Increases immune powers, fights infection, assists in the reduction of stress and fatigue. Important in adrenal activity. B6: (Pyridoxine): Important in the reduction of Edema (even for PMS). Needed in red blood cells for cell generation. Helps control skin eruptions, such as acne, eczema. Vitamin E: ... is a Lipid-soluble anti-oxidant that protects the body from free radicals. Free radicals are the result of our body's own metabolism that can be generated from excessive exposure to environmental pollutions and cigarette smoke, radiation, drugs, pesticides, and chemicals. When free radials our cell membranes, the result is the production of a harmful process known as Lipid Peroxidation. Vitamin E acts as one of the body's defenders against Lipid Peroxidation by breaking and preventing a free radical chain reaction. Alpha Lipoic Acid: ... is a powerful antioxidant that is used by our bodies to prevent free radical damage to our cells. It energizes metabolism. Both insulin-dependent and non-insulin-dependent diabetics will benefit from its effect. It has been used for 30 years in Europe to treat Neuropahy, Retnapathy, and Cardiopathy. It has been successful in the treatment of Parkinsons disease and Alzheimers. It also protects our bodies from metals and radiation pollution. Coral Calcium: ... The islands of Okinawa were buily up over the years from Sango Calcium reefs and coral calcium reefs. Rain that falls on the Okinawa island percolates down through the ancient calcium elements. This aclcium is very alkaline, with a ph of 8.6. So, what coral calcium? 200 years ago an "apple a day" was sufficient for most daily requirement as an iron supplement. Now, we would need to consume over 25 apples per day to get the same. The steady decline in nutritional value of most of our foods, and conditions of modern life has caused the depletion and imbalance of minerals of minerals and vitamins which our body needs for proper function. The high calcium mineral content and purity and ability of Coral Calcium to be used by our body has made it a known source of calcium. It contains every mineral in a proper ratio for the human body. The human body starts out slightly alkaline and over the years becomes more and more acidic. Most disease appear from high acidic waste in the body fluids. After the age of 40, more calcium and minerals leave our bodies at a faster rate that they can come into the body. The end result is a more acedic ph, resulting in poorer health. Coral calcium is a highly effective way to balance our ph and further promotes restful sleep, a stronger skeleton, and peaceful mind. Alpha Lopic Acid also helps with the conditioning of the blood and prevents routine bruising as well as breaks down sugars so that energy can be better produced by way of cellular respiration. Recent research has discovered that Alpha Lopic acid offers a protective action for the nervous system and brain. The American Diabetes Association's Lester Parker of the University of California said that "Alpha Lopic acid can slow nerve damage in the diabetic". Rutin: ... is a family member of Bio-Flavoroids that carry a strong and important ability to strengthen and modulate the permeability of the walls of the blood vessels, including the capillaries. The main source of Rutin is Buckwheat which has been used in the treatment of high blood pressure and slowing the aging process. It has been used in Asia since the 15th Century. Rutin also assists in the proper functioning and absorbtion of Vitamin C. Rutin is also the only significant source of "Vitamin P". Charte Berry: ... is a native plant of Persia. It is one of the oldest Phytomedicines. Ibnn Sinna used it to cure impotency, poor circulation, the reduction of pain and swelling. Artichoke (Cynara Scolymus): ... is a digestive tonic that protects and tonifies the liver and may also be used as a blood purifier. It lowers blood cholestoral, as well as Nitrogen waste products. It also naturally improves digestion and is used as a diaretic for the treatment of kidney disease which most diabetics suffer from/ It has been traditionally used to treat sluggish liver functions, poor digestion, and atherosclerosis. Phosphatidyl Serine: ... is a part of the outer coating of human cells and is responsible for their function. Phosphatidyl Serine is destroysed on a daily basis even in children, and more so in older people. Research indicates a daily dose of Phosphatidyl Serine to improve our memory and nerve functions. Phosphatidyl Serine is a naturally occuring fatty acid in the brain and assists in helping the brain cells store and retreive information. Black Cohash: ... A Native American herb that gets its name from its black root which is the part commonly used in remedies for anxiety, bronchial infections, coughing, depression and nervous conditions, irritability, fatigue, muscle spasms, and general pain. Rosemary: ... An ancient herb used by Ibbn Sinna in traditional persian medicine as an antiseptic, circulatory stimulant, and digestive protector while boosting mental powers. Black Rice: ... The anthocyanin pigments of this rice acts as and antioxidant, improves blood circulation and nerve quality while lowering cholesterol. Curcumin: ... is an ancient anti-oxidant that has been used by eastern civilization in food, as well as medicine. for centuries. Ibbn Sinna used Curcumin in defense against digestive infections while stimulating bile flow. It also helps cleanse the liver and gallbladder while assisting against urinary tract infections. It's been used in Persia medicine as an anti-inflammatory for the joints and muscles. Circumin may be very important in fighting inflammatory disorders, such as cancer, as well. Magnisum: ... naturally relaxes and dialates the blood vessels and further benefits the heart as it's used to treat arrythmia to prevent heart attacks.
